Q: How much should I feed?

A: The daily feeding rate for Symphony is 370 g by weight, or 16 oz by volume (the purple cup) per day for a 1,100 lb horse with a moderate workload. Each 25 lb bag provides a 30-day supply for 1 horse.

Q: Is Symphony a feed or a supplement?

A: Symphony is a supplement, feeding all essential minerals and nutrients at (or above) NRC recommended levels in each daily serving. Most feeds contain grain, mill-run, middlings, and ingredients that add bulk and “fiber” without nutritional value.

Q: Does Symphony contain any allergens?

A: Symphony does not contain any flax, soy, corn, oats, or wheat. Symphony is clean nutrition that helps keep your horse’s gut and temperament stable.

Q: Is Symphony safe for metabolic horses?

A: Yes! Because of Symphony’s clean formulation, it is safe for horses with metabolic conditions. And, with an NSC percentage of 6.3%, it is well below the recommended range of 10-15%. Symphony provides true nutritional support for horses with metabolic issues, horses that are foundering, horses with ulcers, and those with temperament issues.

Q: Why doesn’t Symphony contain popular joint supplements like glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM or hyaluronic acid?

A: Our approach addresses inflammation where it starts – in the gut. Soreness and inflammation are symptoms of a deeper issue. With Symphony’s organic selenium yeast, postbiotic, and natural vitamin E, we stabilize the gut where inflammation begins. This holistic approach has been proven time and again to stave off systemic imbalances.

Q: Why doesn’t Symphony contain electrolytes?

A: Not all horses require electrolyte supplementation, and if over-fed can cause problems. We recommend adding electrolytes as needed for horses with heavy workloads, or during hotter months as needed.

Q: What if my horse requires an additional energy source?

A: We recommend adding additional rice bran or copra meal as a cool-energy source. A diet based on forages + Symphony, with added energy sources as needed provides a clean and balanced program for your horse.
